I need to quote for this cake and figure out servings....and I have a question...
Do you guys think this is all cake, or are the overhanging parts more like "separators"?
I was thinking either these are traditional hex tiers, 4" tall, with about a 2" carved separator decorated like the cake between the tiers OR its like 6" tiers carved to shape.
I need to figure that out so I can calculate servings, etc. I also think the sharp corners and such of the overhangs would be done best in something other than cake, but....
Wondering if anyone knows who did this cake or has any insight? Thanks!

I think the actual cakes are the hexagonal tiers with the added decorated tops. I looks very much like this Ron Ben Israel cake.

What a great link, thanks! My gut was that they looked like regular hex tiers with fancy separators but I wasn't sure...thanks again!
