Ok i am gonna be making a grooms cake car next month and i need a dense recipe, but here is what i am wondering, i remember reading somewhere in cc that you can put like 1/2 c or so of pound cake mix to a my cake mix, is this true? and how does exatly goes? is this a good recipe and does it make it denser?

i add instant pudding to box mixes and it helps make it a little more dense and easier to cut. just add the instant pudding (flavor to match your cake) to your dry mix and mix as usual.
