I am looking for ideas for a mechanic themed cake for my son. Just ideas on tools etc. Was gonna make a fondant mechanic and maybe a toolbox. Anyone know of any tutoriols on this?

I don't know of any tutorials, but I bet it would be pretty straightforward to make the cake in the shape of a toolbox, since they're usually a rectangle shape. Then you could just make some tools out of fondant/gumpaste/modeling chocolate and scatter them around...

Thank you. Thats a really good idea. Never thought of that and it would be pretty straightforward. thumbs_up.gif . Gotta make the cake for the 16th July so i'l keep you posted.
