Dh was helping in the bakery last night and instead of putting a fondant covered cake in the fridge, he put it in the freezer.
I have left it out for a few hours now and it is still sticky to the touch. What can I do??
Any help would be great!!

I would put it infront of a fan to speed up the sweating process!

Yes the fan works great and quickly. Really takes off all of that unwanted condensation.

I thought so but was hoping for a miracle cure. It's the bottom tier so I don't want to stack while it is so sticky. Blah!

You don't worry about stuff being blown onto the cake? fuzz or lint in the air?

no just make sure the fan is clean with no lint or anything attached to the blades or grates and this method works pretty quickly. i use it all the time because i refrigerate my cakes before i put fondant on.
