Next week is my final Wilton 3 class and as all of you know, it's the BIG cake! As I'm trying to get the most out of every class, which do you think I would benefit from most: learning to stack cakes, or making a tiered cake? I'm sure both have similar instructions, but opinions, please????? Thank you!

I think you will be more out of learning how to stack cakes. It seems most cakes are stacked for most occasions excepts for maybe weddings. But really, they are both pretty simple and you will learn how to do both, it just depends on your style of cakes.

Go for the stacked cake. It requires more thought than the tiered, so you'll maybe pick up some pointers that will help you down the road.

If you can stack, you can tier. Definitely do the stacked.

Thanks everyone! I totally got that wrong! I thought tiered would have been more difficult! Thank you again!
