Hi! I have a friend requesting a cake, cupcakes & cakepops for her 2 kids' bday party. I figure I can get most Igredients at whole Foods (for a lot more $ but they know that) but I'm concerned about finding gum paste ( or organic ingredients to make it, if not premade) and marshmallow fondant ingredients. Can you buy organic marshmallows & powdered sugar?! Also the dipping chocolate for cakepops?! I understand organic cakemixes exist but am afraid they'll be dry so I'm thinking of going the scratch route but it will be a lot more work. If anyone has experience baking organically, any advice for shopping is MUCH appreciated. Thanks icon_smile.gif

Most of the ingredients can be found organic. I have had some problems with powdered sugar, so I just used regular sugar in the blender. I was surprised how well it worked. I also went to scratch making fondant too, so now only the glycerin isn't organic!!!!
