I have a cake that is going to be picked up Tuesday evening, being that I have to prepare other things for this party as well I was wondering if I had the cake finished tomorrow ( its a 2 tier cake covered with fondant) would it hold up until Tuesday? also would the fondant crack or dry out when refrigerated?

I have left a fondant covered cake on the counter for 2 days, as long as it doesn't have perishable filling or icing. If possible, just cover to prevent dust. I wouldn't put it in the fridge - the fridge will dry it out much more quickly.
