I need some advice with a cake request I've received. It's for a 7 yr olds birthday cake.

Apparently she wants a Tangled themed cake and the images she forwarded were basically a princess cake with the doll. I've never made one,but I don't think it's that hard (is it?). And it's to feed 20 people.

She wanted a 1/2 vanilla 1/2 chocolate cake with a custard filling and a whipped cream frosting as she doesn't like icing. (I thought his was for her daugher icon_wink.gif )

I've never made custard as I hate the stuff. And I have no idea about a whipped cream icing. She did mention possible use of fondant which is good because I think I'd need to use fondant for the princess part of the cake.

So any words of wisdom? Please?
