In trying to get a signature vanilla cake, I have been trying out tons of different scratch and WASC recipes. I was thinking of trying the Butter Vanilla Emulsion, instead of regular Vanilla extract in vanilla flavored cake. Has anyone used this particular emulsion? If so, what were your results when working with it?

I've used it. It smells very good however, I have not noticed anything different taste wise than regular vanilla when I baked with it.

I recently used this in a crusting BC frosting........even though it was subtle, I found it to have an artificial smell and taste....won't be using it again.

I used it before, because I found it at Ross for $2.99. It does have a very artificial smell and taste in frosting.
