I was gonna make macsmom wasc choc cake and almond joy cake but i have a question about the coffee. Can I leave it out? If i do, do i replace it with the same amount of water? If i use the coffee, is it instant? do i put it in water? i'm a little confused. Thanks!

I have made this many times. I just brew a few cups of coffee and use the amount that is needed. This enhances the flavor of the chocolate. I have made it many times without the coffee as well and just use water in place of the coffee. It is still just as good. Hope this helps

I make it too and I replace the coffee because I don't like it. You can easily sub with water and chocolate milk.
