I wonder if that's nationwide or just your store...I'm in Texas. I should call my local store and see. Thanks!

I just got one too - same deal at my store. It looked like they had all their Cricut Cake stuff on clearance, so maybe they aren't going to carry it anymore. I got a large cutting mat for $5 and two packages of their icing sheets, also around $5 (set of three sheets). They had quite a few cartridges on sale for $25, but I didn't get any of those. I can't wait to try it!

If I was told right, Hobby Lobby and Michaels will not be carrying cricut cake items any longer, (I have a cricut cake and have been picking up clearance items). Either Martha Stewart or Wilton's is suppose to be bringing out a cutting machine. Sooooo wish I hadn't bought the cricut cake when it first came out. Oh well live and learn.

they had one for that price yesterday at the hobby lobby in corpus christi, tx

Bought one Monday at my local (TN) HL for $119 along with CC supplies and tonight saw that my Joann store is also clearancing all Cricut Cake (machine was $125, supplies 70% off!). What is going on? My Michael's told me that had all of their CC on clearance about a month ago.

I've been seeing them on clearance at my Hobby Lobby and Michaels too! The cartridges are 70% off as well. I had one in my hand and then stopped to think about WHY they were so marked down and worried they might not be carrying them anymore and I would be stuck with a $120 machine and no way to buy more cartridges. Soooo, I put it back.

Martha stewart cricuts are on clearance also. I don't know if her cartridges will fit the cricut cake or not. I am lucky that many of my friends have scrapbook cricuts and I am able to use there cartridges. I haven't had much luck with mine but I think that with more practice it will be a good help.
I just bought a scrapbook cricut with 4 cartridges. It was only 100 with my hsn coupon. and flex pay of 4. made it an easy purchase.
I haven't shown my husband yet but he won't care.. its still in the box in the spare room. I hope that those cartridges will be ones that I can make use of on the cake cricut.
I hate cutting things out by hand.. so any help in that department will be a blessing.
I am going to look to see if they have any more of the frosting sheets on sale.. those work very well with the cricut and wiltons at 4.00 a sheet is way too expensive unless its an emergeny.
I do like the patterns on there sheets however.

Wow! I'm a bargain shopper so this has my attention for sure, however, I have know that it will be quite some time before I could afford a Cricut so I haven't even looked into how they work...I don't know the extent of it's function. Now I wish I had checked it all out. There's no way I can get out to pick one up until Tuesday anyway. Guess I'll have to miss out on this one.

I went to my local Hobby lobby today (springfield, il) and they have the cake on clearance for $120. I picked one up and there's one more there. Hope someone else can find one!

They have one where I live. I need to check it out. I checked with Michaels where they used to have them, and they don't have them anymore.

$100 for a Cricut Expression AND 4 carts! That's a steal! And yes, you can use those carts on the Cake so WAY TO GO! The frosting sheets are also on clearance everywhere.
