so a friend of mine asked if i could do a bubblegum flavor cake for her husband. it's his favorite but it does not sound appetizing to me!! i don't think he's ever had a bubblegum cake but just loves the flavor.

what are your thoughts??

i was thinking maybe a white cake with bubblegum flavored icing & fondant. just wanted too see if there were any other suggestions icon_smile.gif

thanks!

This wouldn't be my first choice for a cake (or even my next-to-last choice!), but to each his own. I think you're right about putting the flavor in the icing or fondant (or both, if you're using both). It seems to me that's where it would shine the most. It might get lost in the cake.

ewww hahahah!! everyone likes what they like I suppose! Just makes me think of the bubble gum mouth wash from the dentist when I was a kid...yuck. Keep it to the BC and fondant. You should be able to find a bubble gum flavor/syrup at Sams or a kitchen supply store...
