Hekp!!gold On Dark Chocolate Icing

I have a grooms cake tomorrow that is dark fudgy chocolate icing and it is supposed to have gold stripes(luster dust) on border and gold 4 leaf clovers plus strawberries dipped in chocolate with gold stripes on them. How do I make it show up on chocolate?

Gold is beautiful on dark chocolate. You know you have to make the luster dust into edible paint, right?

I've never done it on chocolate, but on fondant you mix some lustre dust with a teeny bit of vodka (or other clear alcohol) and paint it on. I imagine it would work the same on chocolate, but you can do a test first.
