I am looking at buying a new color printer for crafting (ie. printing invitations, cupcake toppers, etc.). My first question is which type of printer would you recommend, ink jet or laser? And if you have and use one, how do you like yours? And what type do you have?

The last time I bought a color printer was about 8 years ago and it just came with my computer...so I'm pretty clueless about this. Any help would be appreciated! TIA!!!
