I'm making a 18th Birthday cake for a boy who loves art/drawing/painting.He has won awards for his art.I really want to incorporate his artwork into the cake somehow.I was thinking of having like small edible images of a few of his paintings on the cake with just art supplies around it?I'm trying to come up with a "WOW" factor though for the cake.I would love some unique ideas if anyone has any.

Thanks so much! icon_biggrin.gif

How about a chocolate picture frame on top, with an image of one of his cakes in the frame....

Could you sculpt a cake into an easel and then put one of his paintings on the easel paper? Also include an artist palette with different colors of "paint" on it. What a fun customer! Good luck!

You could have the edible pictures on a few gumpaste easels.
