I am making cupcakes for my cousin's bridal shower and they are going to have rolling pins on them. I already made the rolling pin bodies and handles out of gumpaste/fondant. My question is would it be better to attach the handles with melted chocolate or royal icing?? I have to drive about 35 minutes to the shower and am afraid the chocolate will melt. I will definitely be putting the air on in the car since it's been in the 80s here. But still concerned. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks! icon_biggrin.gif

Gum glue would be best.

Agree with gum glue. I just made 100 calla lillies, 50 gerbera daisies and some violet looking flowers...Gum glue works well for holding things together.
