What's the best way to level a 14"-18" cake? I looked at the reviews on the Wilton site for all their levelers and none of the reviews were all that great!

I take a knife and lay it flat on top of the rim of the pan. About 1/2 inch in score your cake all the way around the pan. Then I take a long piece of dental floss and wrap around you index finger on each hand and pull it tight. Lay it on the rim of the pan inside the scored edge pull tight and pull the dental floss acrossed the edge of the pan. This works great for me and it's inexpensive too.
