Thanks for your help. Can you freeze the cake on the boards and drums?

Boards yes drums no. I made this mistake last summer when I was making my cousins wedding cake. I asked my daughter to put the 14 inch round in the freezer forgetting it was on a 16" drum and when I took it out it was warped. I had to spend 8.00 for a new drum. I haven't had any problems with regular cardboard cake circles.
