I would try orange with some red and brown added.

Americolor terra-cotta and soft pink.
Salmon isn't a good description for a color-- people can see it as a wide range from orange to dark pink.

I would use some pink and touches of brown until you get the right shade. If it's too pink, add just a touch of orange.
