Can someone help me read this cake quantity chart by following this link
http://www.kitchenscookshop.co.uk/shop/items/baking-guide/
the chart is at the bottom of the page.
I am trying to work out a basic sponge recipe for a 10" round cake tin, i see they give a recipe for a 6" round tin but i cannot work out the chart which amounts i need to do the 10" round?
Thanks, Sarah
According to the chart at the bottom it states for a 10x3 cake you are to multiply the ingredients by 3 1/2. I come out with 14 oz for the butter, sugar and self rising flour. The eggs would be 7. Hope this helps you :0)
