I am making a beer mug cake and am wondering if anyone has any ideas on how I would go about making the "foam" on the top of the cake. I have heard cream cheese filling(?) and meringue so far. Also, I would like to use bc icing and etch ridges to make it look realistic. Any tips on etching in buttercream? I have yet to attempt it. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated!
