HI -- can anyone recommend a good epson or canon printer to use for edible images? I am looking to start working with edible images on my cakes, but don't know where to start!! ANY suggestions would be very helpful- hoping to not have to spend too much..
thanks!!!

Hi LadyJay,
There are many posts under the Icing Images forum which may be of assistance. To start with, do not get an Epson. The printhead is not removable therefore, if you get a clog, you are out the printer. Canon has a removable printhead which allows you to manually clean it should you have difficulty. The top two current printers are the Canon mp560 and the Canon ip3600. Both excellent choices. The 560 has a scanner built in where as the 3600 does not. What is extremely important that whatever printer you purchase is that you use it! Try at least once per week for optimum results.
Hi!
I have a Canon IP4700. Love it! The ink I puchased from icingimages.com
Here is a picture of a cake that I did with my edible printer...
