I am giving a wedding shower for a good friend of mine in April and I need some help planning. I want to make the stacked cookie cakes for favors--the Martha Stuart ones--and I don't know where to order the boxes from! Any suggestions???
Also . . . we are planning a traditional bridal tea for the shower . . . I am going to do small sandwiches, etc. However . . . the bride wants some pretty mini cakes . . . does anyone know where to get a pan that does two or three tiered mini cakes??? I have 4 pans that do individual cakes . . . but thats going to take forever to bake them all! Or is there a pan that does 6-3" rounds and another for 2" or 4" rounds so I can stack the tiers myself???

These are the cookie favors I am going to try making . . . see what I mean about hte boxes???

Here's an amazon link on the pans. There's also a 3-tiered one. Look cute!

it says in the article where to get the boxes, no website just a phone number, but they are listed as $150 for 52 boxes. kind of pricey!!!!

I would think the easiest way to do a large number of small cakes (2"-4") would be to bake sheet cakes and cut out rounds with cookie cutters. You would have some waste, but time wise it would be SOOO much easier.

I found these boxes that look the same at Papermart.com, you can buy them in quantities of 24:

and here's some little Chinese take-out style boxes that could work:

Hope that helps!

I did a quick search and Ebay had several auctions and stores that carried the clear favor boxes, all different sizes too, and alot cheaper than $150 for 52. Just a suggestion.
Good Luck!
