Need Help Using My Cricut Cake Machine

I am trying to cut 2" letters inside 3" rectangles using my cricut cake machine. I just got it but I am having trouble keeping that part from over lapping. Does any one know how to use this machine? Please help.

I would try cutting from a center point.... I believe there is a button for that.... Cut your letter, then change the size and cut your rectangle... It should start from the same center point so that your letter is centered inside your rectangle.... I had months of trouble with mine... Finally getting it to cooperate
