So, first off, I LOVE this recipe!!
But, I always use my frosting within a day or two of being made, and don't usually have enough left over to save. Well, I have about two or three cups that I saved from a cake I did about a week ago. It's been covered, in the fridge. Is it still ok to use? How long does this frosting last in the refrigerator? I looked at the comments under the recipe and on the forums, and haven't been able to find my answer. Much thanks!! ![]()
Totally fine to use. I want to say I've read that Indy just leaves hers out of the fridge and has kept it longer than a week.
In the fridge, for me, I keep icing about a month. You can also freeze it. ![]()
