Attaching Rkt To Pvc Pipe?

I'm in the middle of trying to plan out a Rapunzel tower cake for my daughters birthday this Saturday and was wondering if anyone knew the best buy to attach RKT to PVC pipe? Will it stick by itself or should i take the Royal Icing route...help! Any advice would be greaticon_smile.gificon_biggrin.gif

I've never had luck with trying to attach RKT to PVC without using some sort of glue...my favorite "glue" would probably be some melted marshmallows. Seemed to work faster than royal icing for me.

You definitely need some sort of glue, options are as mentioned above melted marshmallows, royal icing or I have had success with ganache.
