Has anyone ever put a standing action figure on a cake? I am doing a Spider-man cake, and I'm buying a plastic Spider-man figurine to put on it. It is going to be standing up. I was wondering if I need to attach lollipop sticks to the backs of the legs or will it be ok just standing in the icing. Or will royal icing even be strong enough?

I would attach the lolly pop sticks to the back of the figurine and jostle the cake too much.

Thanks for the response. I loved the Spider-man cake in your gallery. Great job!
