Hi all, I'm sure this has been asked before but I couldn't find a thread on it.
How do I get my standard size cupcakes all to be the same size when baked. I usually use my ice cream scoop and fill it 3/4 full for each but that's an eyeball measure and they're never consistent. I want them all to be level with the baking cup or just slightly rounded above the line, not mushrooms . ![]()
Is there a specific scoop you all use?
Hello, I have 3 scoops I use, all scoop different ounces and depends on what batter I am making. Some batters just rise more then others. I found my perfect scoops by weighing the cupcakes before and after they were baked, then bought a scoop to match the before cooking weight. Check your restaurant supply stores for them.

Yep, a ice cream scoop and a weight scale is how I do it too.
