I was just wondering if anyone would be able to provide me with specific books or instructional videos (other than You Tube) that you recommend? I sometimes see where cakes are posted and they got their ideas from specific books and I would like to read them as well!!

There are tons of books on a huge variety of styles and techniques. Let us know what style of decorating you prefer and maybe someone can make some specific recommendations. For a starter, check out Sharon Zambito's DVDs - she has a wide variety of terrific DVDs. I prefer DVDs over books because you can watch every little detail over and over until you understand - very beneficial for us visual learners LOL
