I made a real aussie mud cake i found on this site so I could make a chocolate carved cake
I am making something similar to that, but in 3d!!

Anyways, I carved my cake before stacking so I could fill it properly, do I need supports? its reaching right at 6 1/2 in tall...I heard every six in needs support, but do you think that could be streached a bit with such a dense cake? Right now the cake is very cold, so its not moving at all, very easy to work with. This is my first time using it so I am not sure how it will hold up after it comes to room temp!
