does anyon know which scissors are the best scissors to use to cut the dowels when stacking cake?

I use an old serrated knife I've had forever. For some reason it cuts through better than anything I've tried!

A serrated knife its what I use but I have used a pvc cutter too.

I use a pair of secateurs that I keep just for this job.
