My neighbor's son loves my cakes and his birthday is coming up soon. He wants a Iron man and Alabama Crimson Tide cake. I actually don't think that the two should go together but what do you think about a iron man face edible image on top of a cake with a hoodstooth design on the side of the cake could go together? Kinda seems weird, but may be it's just me -I have been trying to sketch out different options for over two hours. Need others opinion. TIA

I think it sounds fine. That is about the only way I can think of the two to be combined actually. Maybe have iron man riding Big Al...LOL! Sorry..that would be funny though.

I have to report that I just did the cakes separately. I used buttercream transfers for the cake's design.
