I found this picture, and was wondering how to make the dark pink/red color of the daisies?

I'd try mixing some orange and red together and see how it looks

just looks like plain red to me. there are 2 flowers, right? one is orange and one red. i would just buy precolored red fondant and that would be the easiest way out.

It is possible for all of us to be seeing a slightly different shade of red or reddish-orange, because monitors are different. However, I agree with cownsj, red with some orange mixed in...looks like a chinese red to me...
