Has anyone made the fondant/gumpaste mix for making drapes and flowers? I want to use this on a wedding cake next week so the drapes won't be either to stiff or have to much elasticity in them. However, never having done this, do I mix up a batch of icing with gumpaste in it then mix with fondant, or do I add gumpaste mix to the fondant? Or, if you have a better idea I could use, please, send it my way! Thanks for any suggestions! Cindy

I normally knead gumpaste into a batch of fondant

MissBaritone, an I mixing up a batch of gumpaste by itself, then mixing it into the fondant mixture? I'm a little unclear on that part.

Make up the gumpaste. Make up the fondant seperately then knead the two together. I use about 2/3 fondant and 1/3 gumpaste
