How Do I Make A Gold Rose?

A client would like me to do a dozen roses on a round cake but she would like them to be gold and I am new at this so i was wondering if someone would help me please thanks!

I would make them of a yellowy gold gumpaste or fondant first.Then airbrush them with Gold sheen.

If they want buttercream roses, airbrushing would be best for a metallic gold color, otherwise you could pipe them a golden yellow if they don't want metallic.

For gumpaste or fondant roses, you could handpaint them metallic gold with luster dust mixed with vodka, lemon juice, or clear vanilla.
