Are the fat daddio's pans "smaller" than Wilton pans? Or are they just more streamlined? I know the Fat Daddio's has straighter edges. I have a few square Fat Daddio's and an 8" square FD seems smaller that an 8" square Wilton after the cakes are baked, cooled and stacked on top of each other. Is this true or am I doing something wrong? Would I run into the same issue if I compared the two in rounds?
Also, if this is the case, what is the difference in serving sizes and serving numbers. ![]()
Thanks in advance.
I only have a couple of Fat Daddio pans and I have found the opposite, my 6 inch round and square Fat Daddio pans are larger than my 6 inch Wilton pans.
Really? I'm not in my kitchen right now, so I hope I am not getting mixed up.
