So I think I went to the right forum anyways I have made buttercream frostying that is delicious as all get out. My problem is when I add food coloring to it it turns grainy I dont get it lol..I use
2lbs of confection sugar
2cups of high ratio shortening
14 tspoons of milk
5 or 6 tspoons of Butter flavoring
2 tbsp. of Mergine egg whites with 3 tbspoons of water
after I whip it all together I have tried letting it set in the fridge I have tried sifting eveything it always turns out grainy I am baffled any suggestions?
