How long does it take the icing to dry when dipping sugar cookies into Royal icing.
I'm making some spiderman themed cookies for my son's b-day on sunday.. just wondering when i should start them.

i leave my cookies overnight to dry, but how long it takes really depends on how humid it is where you are

yup, at least overnight (and perhaps longer if the icing is thick). set aside your last dipped cookie to use as your tester -- when it's dry to your touch (and light pressure) then you can assume that all the others are dry too. icon_smile.gif
