This was my entry at the National Capital Area Cake show 2011 in Virginia, last weekend.
I've got 2nd place, The theme was "Under the Sea"

I left a comment on your picture, but wanted to tell you that your cake looks more like a statue/figurine than a cake. I mean that as a compliment. It is amazing!

i got a chance to see it up close last sunday and it was simply amazing! i can't even begin to imagine how many hours you put into that cake. i wanna be a great cake artist like you when i grow up!

Your cake is fantastic!!! As a couple others have said it looks like a sculpture and congratulations of
your win. If you got second then I can not imagine what first place looked like.

I saw Stringer Photography photographing this cake and I was like "Whooooaaa that's gorgeous!" Congrats on your win. There were so many cakes I didn't get to see and I was there both days, but I'm glad I saw this one.
