a party for a boys basket ball champion team was moved from this sunday to next.. of course it's thursday so the cake is baked and rested then covered and decorated w/fondant...can it be frozen and then de-thawed for next sunday? how should it be covered in the freezer if it can be done this is the first time it's happened to me and i don't want to re bake and waste two full sheet cakes, help soon please......

Someone just posted a similar situation. They removed the decorations, and wrapped and foiled the cake and froze it. They set it out the night before, (or depending on your event) and said it was perfect.
