I am doing smash cakes for a local photographer and her client requested a low sugar, low vanilla cake. Any ideas? The cake is covered in buttercream, so I'm not sure how to make that low sugar 
I'm waiting to find out if there is an allergy or specific reason for the request, but thought I'd better get thinking about it. Thanks!
