Does anyone have a wedding cake recipe that uses layer of Almond or Coconut Dacquoise. I have never used this before and would love to have some good recipes and maybe some pictures of how the layers look. Please help! Thanks!
I hate to answer this post and run, but I'm on my way to work, but if you pm me, I'll try to get you some info. I have a couple of questions first.
1. Is the dacquoise going to be incorporated with other layers of cake and or filling/ fresh fruit/ whipped cream, buttercream?
2. How is the finished cake supposed to look? Is it going to be rustic and undecorated and are you able to see the individual layers or is it to be a totally decorated cake?
I hope I haven't confused you too much. I have a few good dacquoise and japonaise recipes that I'd be happy to give you. They're basically all pretty simple.
