Can I Put White Chocolate In Wilton Fondant??

well i ordered some flavoring oils to put in fondant already made but im thinking it will not get to me in time..so im on to plan b..has anyone heard or done this..put white chocolate in wiltons fondant?? im wondering if it will change the texture or make it not workable..anybody out there?? lol ..

If you first make white modelling chocolate out of the white chocolate and knead that into the fondant, it should be ok, should be nice and elastic

how far in advance can i make this or how long will it keep??

you would need to calculate 1 day for the modelling choc, then mix the two the next day, theoretically you can cover once mixed in

I do this a lot. I make the white modeling choc. and add this to the wilton fondant. I actually add it while still soft. Then let it set up over nite. Taste really nice. You can do this to any fondant.
