I have my first wedding cake in May. I am making lots of gumpaste daisies to put on a butterbream cake. Can i use royal icing to attach these or will they just slide off??????

With Italian meringue buttercream the gumpaste flowers adhere without using anything unless they are directly on the sides of the cake. I have used a small squirt of buttercream, or a dab of melted white chocolate to attach, then chill and they stay very well. If your Mays are extremely hot you might want to use royal icing.
