Tint Frosting

I would like some suggestions on getting frosting a sage green color? Besides black what color green do you suggest. Is there a color formula that will get me the color I want?
Also need to know if I can put fondant decorations on buttercream, will it stay in place?

there is a wilton moss green, try just a dab of it, and u can put fondant on buttercream it will stay just fine

Wilton has a "garden" color set that has a pretty sage green in their gel colors.
