Hi all, I have made some tiered cake dummies and now wish to do the same with cupcakes. I have some dummy cuppies but not sure what to use for "frosting" so that it will last. Any ideas would be great. x

If your tiered cake dummies held up with good results, why not use the same "frosting"? Did you use fondant, BC, RI, spackle, or Perma-Ice?

Thanks for your reply. I used fondant icing for the covering but what I am after is the piped "fake" buttercream look to go on top.
