Is there a trick to making the heel for a gumpaste shoe? Mine always are too thick and don't stand up right.

There are a number of silicone molds for heels now that are easy to use. Pink Cake Box generously shared a tutorial on You Tube that may be helpful. It is in 3 parts - here's a link to the first
