Just filled the center of a 6 inch round cake with caramel...used an icing damn, but the top of the cake is sliding, and the caramel is oozing out of the sides
Take it apart, remove some of the caramel, dam with icing so thick you can roll it into a rope. Make sure the level of caramel is well below the height of the dam. Also check to make sure you cakes are level. HTH
