Hi I was wondering who on here uses syrups in their cakes and is better than not using? I just wanted to take you guys' perspective on to syrup or not. Thanks in advance!!!!
I use simple syrup on all my cake layers....makes the cake moist
I use it when my cakes are a tad dry or overbaked.
I use it in some, not in others. I mainly use it to add a flavor or another flavor dimension. I also add alcohol to some of my cakes using the "simple syrup" method.
