Can anyone please help me with instructions on making a pug cake, or a link to a good tutorial for making one.

I haven't made a pug cake before but I definitely want to since I own a pug myselft. 
The only idea I have would be to roll out some fondant like a worm and then lay that on your cake before you cover the whole cake with one piece of fondant or buttercream. This way you will be able to get the wrinkles and the texuture.
